A source said that the Browns have "parted ways" with Dir of Player Personnel JON SANDUSKY, as his "contract expired and the Browns elected not to renew it." The source said that Sandusky "was dismayed to be let go almost three weeks after the draft, when most teams' personnel departments are set." Sandusky "received a favorable review right after the draft and thought he was in the team's plans going forward" (CLEVELAND.com, 5/18).

EXECS: Temple Univ. promoted Deputy AD PATRICK KRAFT to AD, replacing KEVIN CLARK, who was appointed within the school to the newly created position of Exec VP & COO (Temple)....The Avalanche named Blue Jackets Assistant GM CHRIS MACFARLAND to a "similar role." MacFarland "was one of the few remaining original Blue Jackets employees."
