ESPN Sees Spike In Unique Visitors During March, Easily Tops ComScore Rankings

ESPN in March rebounded in monthly comScore sports rankings for multi-platform digital reach, reaching 80.5 million unique visitors. The figure, representing ESPN's 13th straight monthly win, is up 8% from a nine-month low posted in February and up 17% from its March '14 total. While much of the rest of the rankings held form compared to recent months, the entire category saw a lift from February, due in part to the arrival of the NCAA Tournament, Spring Training and NFL free agency. ESPN during the month surpassed 80 million uniques for the seventh time. No other U.S. sports digital media outlet has reached that mark ever. ESPN also maintained its typical category lead in consumption metrics with 97.9 minutes per user during March, up from 75.2 minutes per user last month, and 86.2 minutes per user in March of '14.
