Dancing Partners: Nike Again Represents Vast Majority Of Teams In NCAA Tourney

Nike and its affiliated brands sponsor 51 of the 68 teams in this year's NCAA men’s basketball tournament, up from 45 in last year's tourney. THE DAILY's annual breakdown of the shoe and apparel brands worn in the tourney shows there are 48 schools that wear Nike shoes, while two teams wear Jordan Brand. Eleven teams wear adidas shoes and apparel, down from 18 a year ago. Under Armour saw a rise in its representation, going from one school in last year’s tournament to six teams in '15. Russell Athletic supplies the jerseys for three schools, one less than a year ago. Schools in the chart below are listed by region in their seed order. The NCAA Tournament begins tomorrow with the "First Four" (THE DAILY).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
