ESPN Leads ComScore Rankings For 12th-Straight Month With 74.7 Unique Visitors

ESPN in February led monthly comScore sports ratings for multi-platform digital reach for the 12th-straight month. But its total of 74.7 million uniques was down by nearly 20 million from its record-setting total in January, and its lowest total in nine months. Many other leading entities in the category showed noticeable declines from their January metrics given the short month in February and the conclusion of the pro and college football seasons that are typically major traffic drivers. The NFL in particular dropped from fourth in the category in January to seventh last month, with a decline of more than 17 million uniques. ESPN also maintained its typical category lead in consumption metrics with an average of 75.2 minutes per user during the month.
