The AP reported Fox Sports "is extending its soccer involvement to the youth level, where thousands of teams will wear 'Fox Sports 1' advertisements on their jerseys." The net yesterday announced a five-year partnership with the American Youth Soccer Organization, through which the FS1 logo "will be added this [spring] to the right chest of AYSO jerseys" (AP, 3/11).

GETTING IN A TIFF: NFL Network hired Tiffany Blackmon, a regional reporter based in Atlanta. A former reporter for CSN Houston, she will work on shows like “NFL Total Access,” “Around the NFL,” “Path to the Draft” and “NFL GameDay Morning” (John Ourand, Staff Writer)

ANDY UP: In DC, Dan Steinberg noted longtime local radio host Andy Pollin's "Sports Reporters" morning-drive program on WSPZ-AM "will end" after tomorrow's show. Pollin on Tuesday announced that he "will move to an as-yet unspecified role" at ESPN Radio 980 DC. Pollin announced the end of his show "just shy of its 18-month anniversary" (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 3/10).
