Univ. Of Wisconsin Coach Bo Ryan Stars In New State Tourism Ad

The Wisconsin Department of Tourism department yesterday announced that Univ. of Wisconsin men’s basketball coach Bo Ryan stars in its new TV commercial, which reunites state natives and "Airplane!" writers/directors David and Jerry Zucker and Jim Abrahams for the seventh time. The spot, which will run in Chicago, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Milwaukee and Madison, premieres during the Big Ten and NCAA Basketball Tournaments. The commercial opens with Ryan making his “heated” face, and the Travel Wisconsin superhero figure shows Ryan the merits of vacationing in Wisconsin (WDT).
