Orlando City SC yesterday announced a multiyear agreement making Walt Disney World Resort a founding sponsor of the MLS club. Disney World gets the designation of Orlando City's official theme park and resort destination, while Disney Cruise Line becomes the official cruise line of the club. Disney Vacation Club also becomes the official vacation club. EMPTY TANK: In Las Vegas, Mark Anderson reports NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Dylan Kwasniewski "was expected to share the No. 42 HScott Motorsports Chevrolet with Kyle Larson, but Kwasniewski didn’t reach an agreement with Rockstar Energy Drink, which sponsored his car last season." Kwasniewski: "If we can get the funding, we’ve got to decide if we can get the second car or not. If we do get the money, do we put it toward the end of the year or (earlier) this year? Do we try to get a full season in ’16?" (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 3/5).

GO BIG: The Big East Conference yesterday announced new and returning sponsors for '15 and beyond. New York Life returns as presenting sponsor of all 22 conference championships. Also returning are Gatorade, Westwood One and Geico. New deals include Nike (apparel/footwear) and Dr Pepper Snapple Group's Sunkist (soft drink for men's basketball tourney). The Sunkist Soda Ten brand also will be activated via a co-branded point-of-purchase retail campaign in the N.Y. area (Big East).
