Sources said that Penguins Senior VP/Sales & Service DAVID PEART “has resigned.” Peart was a “driving force behind many of the Penguins’ corporate sponsor relationships.” He is leaving the club “for a job outside of the Pittsburgh region.” Peart joined the team in ’09. The Penguins “haven’t named a replacement for Peart’s position” (PITTSBURGH TRIBUNE-REVIEW, 2/10).
