In Greensboro, Jeff Mills reports the Korea Tourism Organization has "set up a table full of flyers, brochures and travel information" about South Korea at this week's U.S. Figure Skating Championships at Greensboro Coliseum. The group is promoting the '18 Pyeongchang Games, and its "Imagine Your Korea" logo can be seen "among the sponsor signs lining the practice rink" at the Coliseum's Special Events Center. Tourism groups from Boston and St. Paul also have tables promoting the '16 World Championships and '16 U.S. Nationals, respectively (Greensboro NEWS & RECORD, 1/23).

HEALTH CLASS: In Chicago, Jessica Cilella reports Danica Patrick on Thursday as part of a deal with Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare helped introduce a "new Healthy Driven campaign, which encourages people to take steps toward a more healthy life." The event in Lombard, Ill., drew "more than 1,200 people." Patrick has agreed to donate "up to $10,000 to support Edward-Elmhurst's efforts to combat childhood obesity in the suburbs." One dollar will be donated "every time someone accepts a challenge on healthydriven.com" (Chicago DAILY HERALD, 1/23).

BOX & ONE: The Thunder have signed a sponsorship deal with Jack in the Box that will see the QSR receive marketing opportunities inside Chesapeake Energy Arena. A new promo called Thunder Thursdays will allow fans to get a free Monster Taco at any Oklahoma-based Jack in the Box location with any purchase (Thunder). The deal comes several months after Thunder F Kevin Durant signed a personal endorsement deal with competing QSR Sonic (THE DAILY).

TURNING ON THE HOSE: Presbyterian College has signed a five-year deal with adidas that will make the company PC's official athletic footwear, apparel and accessory brand through the '19-20 season. All uniforms, footwear and apparel for PC's 15 athletic teams will come from adidas beginning with the '15-16 season. The deal officially begins on July 1 (PC).
