Golfer BUBBA WATSON yesterday during a public event "attended by hundreds of fans" was officially announced as an investor in the Double-A Southern League Pensacola Blue Wahoos. Watson: "This is something I have always dreamed of doing. I mean, who doesn't dream of owning a sports team at one time." Watson's stake in the club "was not disclosed." But team co-Owner QUINT STUDER said Watson's investment was "significant" (PENSACOLA NEWS JOURNAL, 1/20).

NEXT QUESTION: A Miami police report shows that officers late Sunday came to the home of NFL agent DREW ROSENHAUS and his wife, LISA THOMSON, "to chill an altercation between the two." Both "cooperated with police," and "no arrests were made." A report from TMZ indicated that the late-night altercation "may have been spurred by Thomson's relationship with Hollywood party boy DAN BILZERIAN" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 1/20).
