NFL Players Inc. Expanding Business Of Co-Branded Merch With Collegiate Products

NFL Players Inc., the licensing and marketing arm of the NFLPA, on Thursday announced it is expanding its business of co-branded merchandise featuring active NFLers and their colleges. Efforts include a new ecommerce initiative with Fanatics and a new agency relationship with The Brandr Group. These initiatives expand upon NFLPI's existing business with a variety of licensees already producing co-branded NFLer collegiate products, including Original Retro Brands, Forever Collectibles, McFarlane Toys and approximately 10 others. Fanatics on Black Friday launched a customized NFL player-collegiate jersey program, which for the first time offers fans the ability to buy a co-branded jersey with a player's name and number on the back. Additionally, NFLPI announced that The Brandr Group will serve as the agency of record to exclusively represent NFL player group licensing rights across all categories for collegiate co-brand licensing and sponsorship opportunities (NFLPI).
