Fox Sports Adds Corey Pavin, Juli Inkster To Golf Broadcasting Team

Fox Sports announced more members of its golf team when it begins broadcasting the sport next year. Steve Flesch, Juli Inkster, Shane O'Donoghue and Corey Pavin will serve as analysts for Fox' inaugural coverage of USGA championships. Flesch, who previously worked at Golf Channel, will serve as hole announcer for the majority of Fox' telecasts. Inkster will be an analyst for the U.S. Women's Open, in addition to the U.S. Open, U.S. Senior Open and select amateur championships. O'Donoghue will host Fox Sports' USGA telecasts and amateur coverage, while Pavin will serve as event and studio analyst for the '15 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay (Fox). GOLF.com's Coleman McDowell noted O’Donoghue, a veteran of the BBC golf team who has hosted CNN’s "Living Golf" for the past four years, will be the "number two man in the booth." He will "step in" when Joe Buck "takes a break during lengthy U.S. Open broadcasts, and will share play-by-play duties with Buck at other USGA events." Other members of Fox' broadcast team that already have been named include Brad Faxon, former Golf Channel host Holly Sonders and former USGA Exec Dir David Fay (GOLF.com, 11/18).
