Heineken today announced deals with seven MLS clubs set to begin Jan. 1. The beer brand inked deals with the Fire, Crew, DC United, Dynamo, Red Bulls, NYC FC and Orlando City SC. The deals establish Heineken either as the official beer or the official import of each club. SHAKING OFF THE RUST: In Cleveland, Jodie Valade notes the Web.com Tour event formerly known as the Cleveland Open yesterday "was renamed the Rust-Oleum Championship with a two-year title sponsor deal." The tournament will be held June 8-14, 2015 at Lakewood Country Club in Westlake, "continuing the three-year deal originally struck with the Web.com Tour for the event." The Rust-Oleum Championship "will once again be televised" on Golf Channel (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 11/12).

SUSTAINED DRIVE: In Detroit, Alisa Priddle reports Fox NFL analyst Michael Strahan yesterday toured a Ford truck plant, where he met with employees and "also got to drive one of the new trucks off the line." Starting yesterday, a 10-second teaser on the Ford F-150 began "running across all Fox Group channels and on Sunday Strahan will talk about his visit to the plant" on "Fox NFL Sunday." Ford is a sponsor of the pre-game show (DETROIT FREE PRESS, 11/12).
