Final Ratings: NHL Starts Strong On New Canadian Partners; F1 Up On NBC

Rogers Sportsnet set a new record for “Hockey Night in Canada” viewership reach last Saturday. The Canadian net, in its first “HNIC” broadcast under a new rights deal, averaged 2.23 million viewers for regionalized coverage in the early window and 1.31 million in the late window (Sportsnet). Meanwhile, new French-language broadcaster TVA Sports set a new weekly viewership record during its first week of NHL games (TVA).

FAST COMPANY: NBCSN has averaged 377,000 viewers for 11 F1 races to date this season, which is its second carrying the series. That average is up 93% from the same point last year and keeps the net on pace for the best F1 average in the U.S. since ’02 (NBC).

The charts below list final ratings from recent sports telecasts.
