Executive Transactions

Australian sports analytics company Catapult named former Stats LLC Senior VP/Sports Solutions BRIAN KOPP President of North American Operations. Kopp left Stats in August. He will operate out of Chicago, where he has been based, and open an office there. Catapult focuses on analytics through wearable tech, such as sensors embedded into jerseys, and uses that data to advance injury prevention and knowledge about player wellness. Thirteen NBA teams are among Catapult's client base. While at Stats, Kopp helped broker a deal between that company and Catapult to sell a combined analytics product to NBA teams that advanced beyond Stats' league-level partnership. Catapult also named former U.K.-based analytics company Prozone Managing Dir BARRY MCNEILL to lead its European operations (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).
