Raising Awareness: Danica To Drive Pink GoDaddy Car Again During October

Stewart-Haas Racing's No. 10 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chevrolet driven by Danica Patrick "will sport a pink look to promote breast cancer awareness during the month of October" as part of primary sponsor GoDaddy's "Put the Brakes on Breast Cancer" campaign, according to Angelique Soenarie of the ARIZONA REPUBLIC. Names of those impacted by the disease "will be placed on the car" for the Oct. 26 Goody's Headache Relief Shot 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Fans can take part in the effort by giving $10 or more to the National Breast Cancer Foundation online at GoDaddy.com/Donate by noon PT today (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 10/2). Fox Business' David Asman noted this will be the third-straight year Patrick has driven a pink car in October. Fox Business' Cheryl Casone: "Pink and green in true GoDaddy tradition: Imagine that thing on the racetrack. They're going to be racing this car three times this month." Meanwhile, Patrick, noting she has just joined Instagram, said, "With a sponsor like GoDaddy that's obviously websites and technology and Internet, I figured I'd better get with the times" ("After the Bell," Fox Business, 10/1).
