Overnight Ratings: ABC Leads College Football; NASCAR Off Slightly At Dover

ABC’s 3:30pm ET regionalized window on Saturday led all college football telecasts over the weekend. The window, which featured Florida State-NC State and Minnesota-Michigan, drew a 4.0 overnight, which beat out Notre Dame-Syracuse in primetime (ABC) and Arkansas-Texas A&M at 3:30pm (CBS). Both of those telecasts drew a 2.8 overnight. ESPN’s top CFB game was Missouri’s upset win over South Carolina (1.9 overnight) from 7:00-10:45pm on Saturday. Fox also drew a 1.2 overnight for Stanford-Washington in primetime.

ELIMINATION MATH: ESPN drew a 2.1 overnight for yesterday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series AAA 400 from Dover Int’l Speedway, which marked the first round of eliminations in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. That figure is down slightly from a 2.2 overnight for the same Chase race last year. ESPN also drew a 1.2 overnight for the Nationwide Series Dover 200 on Saturday afternoon, up slightly from a 1.1 rating for the same race last year.
