A source said that Warriors GM BOB MYERS has "agreed to a three-year extension with the team that will keep him under contract" through the '17-18 season. Myers, whose deal was due to expire at the end of the coming season, has held the position since April '12 and "recently helped steer the way through the tumultuous dismissal of coach MARK JACKSON" (SAN JOSE MERCURY NEWS, 9/5).
