Stats LLC Senior VP/Sports Solutions BRIAN KOPP is leaving the company, effective Friday. His next career move has not been disclosed, but Kopp played a major role in building Stats’ SportVU motion tracking technology into a significant presence that is now in every NBA arena and a growing number of college basketball and pro soccer venues. “It was a tough decision, but I’m ready to explore new opportunities,” Kopp wrote in an e-mail to business associates. “I’m still finalizing my next move but I plan to stay in the sports technology and analytics space.” Stats’ SportVU basketball efforts are expected to be led by Associate VP RYAN WARKINS (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).
