In N.Y., Andrew Adam Newman reports total spending for Under Armour's new women's line campaign with American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Misty Copeland "is estimated at" almost $15M. Kantar Media data shows that UA spent a total of $18M to "place advertising" in the U.S. in '13. Annual revenue for women’s apparel for UA is about $500M, half of men’s, and the company "has long contended that its goal is for the women’s segment to grow as big as, if not bigger than, the men’s" (N.Y. TIMES, 7/31).

GREEK WEEK
: Dannon yesterday announced that it will sponsor the NFL as the league's official yogurt, starting in '15. The company in '12 began running Super Bowl ads for its Oikos Greek yogurt. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Dannon also has sports sponsorships with the Yankees, Impact, Verizon IndyCar Series Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach and WTA Family Circle Cup in Charleston, S.C. RIGHT SAID FRED: M&T Bank on Tuesday announced that Bills RB Fred Jackson will return for a fourth season as a company endorser. The partnership, which extends through '15, will see Jackson appear in M&T Bank's ad campaign throughout Western New York during the'14 NFL season and work with M&T on select appearances and community events. The company last week also launched "Through Fred's Eyes," an online video series starring Jackson (M&T Bank).
