  • MLB Average Attendance Down Slightly Heading Into Second Half Of '14 Season

MLB teams were averaging 30,028 fans per game heading into the All-Star break, down slightly from the same period last season. The top three clubs in average attendance -- the Dodgers, Cardinals and Yankees, respectively -- have each seen increases at the gate this season. The Astros and Marlins are the only clubs seeing double-digit percentage gains at the gate, but both clubs remain in the bottom five among MLB team average attendance. Several clubs are seeing a double-digit percentage drop at the gate, including the Rangers, Phillies, Twins and Blue Jays (THE DAILY).
