NCAA National Coordinator of Men's Basketball Officiating JOHN ADAMS will retire following the '15 Final Four. Adams, who has held the position since '08, "worked in conjunction with the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee to choose officials for the tourney, but perhaps his biggest role was bringing more cohesive officiating to the college game." The NCAA "intends to begin a search for Adams' replacement this fall" (ESPN.com, 7/17).
