ACC Distributes Record Revenue To Member Schools After Renegotiated TV Deal

The ACC said that it "distributed a record" $291.7M in total revenue for FY '13-14, according to Andrea Adelson of ESPN.com. That number is up $56.6M over the previous FY, when the ACC "was a 12-member conference." The conference's recent expansion to 15 teams "allowed the ACC to renegotiate its television deal, a big reason why revenues have increased." All 14 full members "are set to receive" an average of $20.8M, up $1.2M from last year. Notre Dame, which remains independent of the conference in football, "will receive a different share, which was undisclosed" (ESPN.com, 6/6).
