Supply & Demand: Browns Fans Must Register Online To Attend Training Camp

Browns President Alec Scheiner said that the team will have its fans “register online to attend practice” in anticipation that “more than the capacity crowd of 5,000 might show up each day” during training camp, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland PLAIN DEALER. Scheiner: "We were going to do that anyway, because the one thing we didn't want from a fan experience is for 1,000 or 2,000 people to come to training camp and get turned away.'' He added that the Browns are “still working out the details of the registration process, whether fans will print out a ticket or whatever the case may be.” Scheiner said that the club is “still working through whether or not the team can hold a Family Fun Day at the FirstEnergy Stadium with phase one renovations underway." Cabot noted the Browns are “currently exploring other sites just in case.” Scheiner added that the team will “explore moving training camp away from the Berea facility next year, most likely to a college campus.” Cabot noted the Browns in the past "have held camp" at Kent State Univ., Hiram and Lakeland Community College (Cleveland PLAIN DEALER, 5/31).
