Chargers Adopt Variable Single-Game Pricing, Offer Discounts To Season-Ticket Holders

The Chargers on Friday announced "variable pricing" on single-game tickets, and the “priciest were for games involving the Broncos, Patriots and Seahawks,” according to Tom Krasovic of the SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE. Chargers season-ticket holders “stand to benefit from the new policy.” In addition to paying the same price as last year, they will “pay a lower price than the total face value of tickets.” Their savings, depending on seat location, “range from $83 to $226 in comparison to single-game tickets.” Chargers Senior VP & CMO Ken Derrett said, "The value you get for being a season-ticket member, it almost equates at some price points to the value of two games. We've really tried to impress on our fans that being a season-ticket holder will give you savings." Krasovic noted the “priciest single tickets" are for the Dec. 14 game with the Broncos (SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE, 5/24).
