The HOLLYWOOD REPORTER named its "35 Most Powerful People In Media" for '14, and the list includes NBC's BOB COSTAS, NBC Sports Group Chair MARK LAZARUS, CBS Sports Chair SEAN MCMANUS and ESPN President JOHN SKIPPER (HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, 4/20 issue).

MONEY ON MY MIND: In Philadelphia, Jeff McLane cited sources as saying that an arbitrator ruled Redskins WR DESEAN JACKSON "owes former agent DREW ROSENHAUS $516,415 in loans and fees." Rosenhaus in June "filed a grievance" with the NFLPA, claiming that Jackson "owed him more than $700,000 in unpaid loans and fees." Jackson "plans to appeal the ruling." He left Rosenhaus last spring, and signed with Lagardère's JOEL SEGAL "not long after" (PHILLY.com, 4/16).

READ ALL ABOUT IT: NFL agent LEIGH STEINBERG yesterday visited UC-Davis as he "wraps up a tour" promoting his book, "THE AGENT: MY 40-YEAR CAREER MAKING DEALS AND CHANGING THE GAME." Steinberg said that he "found himself conflicted about the mounting concussions suffered by his star quarterback clients and others." He added, "I knew intuitively that quarterbacks getting hit in the head was a bad thing" (SACBEE.com, 4/16).
