The Big East today announced that it has signed a 10-year lease agreement with The Durst Organization that will bring the conference’s official HQ to 655 Third Ave. in midtown Manhattan. The seventh-floor office space, totaling 13,742 square feet, is located on the corner of 42nd Street. The interior will be newly renovated. Occupancy is expected in late summer. Terms of the lease were not disclosed. The temporary HQ has been in Proskauer's Times Square office since last year, and prior to that was based in Providence, R.I. (THE DAILY).
