SEC Commissioner MIKE SLIVE yesterday said that "he will return" for the '14-15 academic year. Slive: "I've got too much going on. I've got the (SEC) Network to work on. I've got football scheduling to solve. We've got the NCAA restructuring. We've got a lot of important issues to take care of. I wouldn't miss it for the world." Slive entered '13-14 with "one year left on his contract." He said last spring that he would "take several months to decide his future." Slive "declined to say how much longer he will remain commissioner" (AL.com, 3/4).

LYNCH ON THE MOVE: Former Visa sponsorship exec MICHAEL LYNCH has left the Association of Surfing Professionals after spending the last year as the organization's Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer. Lynch joined the ASP in April '13 and worked on the organization’s media deals with ESPN and YouTube and title sponsorship deal with Samsung. He is looking for his next opportunity (Lefton & Mickle, Staff Writers).

EXECS: The Buccaneers named Hawks CMO AILEY PENNINGROTH to the same position, effective March 17. She "replaces JASON DIAL, who left the Bucs" in September (BIZJOURNALS.com, 3/4)....Showtime promoted President of Entertainment DAVID NEVINS to the newly created position of Showtime Networks President. He signed a new contract through '18 and is "adding oversight of Showtime Sports, as well as the company's marketing, creative and digital divisions" (MULTICHANNEL.com, 3/4)....The Cubs named former MLBer TED LILLY Special Assistant to President of Baseball Operations THEO EPSTEIN and GM JED HOYER (CHICAGOTRIBUNE.com, 3/4)....The 76ers promoted ADAM TUVAL and ASHLEY SHAPIRO to Account Execs, and PAIGE MOLLINEAUX to Exec Assistant (76ers)....The U.S. Olympic Museum named KRISTEN DOWNS Exec Administrative Coordinator (Colorado Springs GAZETTE, 3/5)....The Women in Sports & Events L.A. BOD named AEG Communications Manager CASSIE ZEBISCH Dir of PR & Media. She will remain in her role at AEG (THE DAILY)....The Univ. of Miami named Booker T.
