Lightning To Revamp Season-Ticket Pricing For '14-15, Add Premium Seating Area

The Lightning's season-ticket prices will increase by an average of 5% for the '14-15 season, but "not all seats are being treated equally," according to Damian Cristodero of the TAMPA BAY TIMES. The team said that prices on 4,853 seats in the 19,204-seat Tampa Bay Times Forum "will be the same or lower, most notably the club level corner seats," which are going down 25%. But some seats "are going up," including a 22.5% increase for seats "in the upper Promenade" at the end in which the Lightning shoot twice (TAMPABAY.com, 2/11). Meanwhile, the team yesterday announced that they will debut a new premium seating area at Tampa Bay Times Forum for the '14-15 season. The Blue Line Club will be offered to full season-ticket members in certain sections only. Blue Line Club members will receive a replica jersey, VIP garage parking, a $10 food/beverage credit for each game, access to a premium ticket exchange program and ticketing priority for concerts and events (Lightning).
