Overnight Ratings: "UFC on Fox 9" Down From Last December; "30 For 30" Down

"UFC on Fox 9" earned a 1.8 overnight rating on Saturday night, down 36% from "UFC on Fox 5" last December. Both telecasts aired up against the Heisman Trophy ceremony. Saturday night's two-hour telecast, which saw Demetrious Johnson defeat Joseph Benavidez in the main event, was up 12.5% from the net's last UFC telecast in late July, which saw Johnson defeat John Moraga.

FILM STUDY: ESPN earned a 1.5 overnight for its latest "30 for 30" on Saturday night following the Heisman Trophy ceremony. The doc, titled "Youngstown Boys," focused on the connection between former Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel and former RB Maurice Clarett. The audience for the doc was down 35% from a 2.3 overnight for a documentary on Bo Jackson following last year's event. "You Don't Know Bo" also was the net's best audience on record for a documentary.
