REUTERS' Keith Weir reports F1 CEO BERNIE ECCLESTONE has named F1 team Red Bull Principal CHRISTIAN HORNER as the "man he wants to succeed him." Ecclestone "has a close friendship with the Red Bull principal and admits he would prefer someone with first-hand knowledge of the sport," ahead of EPL CEO RICHARD SCUDAMORE or Sainsbury CEO JUSTIN KING (REUTERS, 11/22).

SPLIT DECISIONS: MEG IRSAY, wife of Colts Owner JIM IRSAY, filed for divorce on Thursday "after living apart for more than a decade," ending their 33-year marriage. The Irsays said that ownership of the Colts "isn't at issue." Jim Irsay maintains 100% ownership and "complete control of the team." The Irsays' three daughters -- CARLIE IRSAY-GORDON, CASEY FOYT and KALEN IRSAY -- are each Vice Chair & Owner of the team (USATODAY.com, 11/21)....Time Warner Chair & CEO JEFF BEWKES and his wife, PEGGY, are "divorcing after 20 years of marriage" (N.Y. CHARITY STRIPE: Giants TE BRANDON MYERS on Monday held a bowling event at Wallington Lanes in Wallington, N.J., which “raised approximately $30,000.” The proceeds go to Intensive Therapeutics, a non-profit, charitable organization that “provides group and individual occupation therapy services to children with autism and children with hemiplegia, from stroke, CP and brain injury” (NJ.com, 11/19)....DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM have donated boxes of their old clothes and shoes to the British Red Cross to “help fund relief efforts in the Philippines” (THETIMES.co.uk, 11/22).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth.
