StubHub Signs New Deals With Arizona State, Georgia Tech And West Virginia

StubHub has signed three new deals with Arizona State, Georgia Tech and West Virginia to be their official secondary ticket market provider for football and men’s basketball. The agreements were done in tandem with Paciolan, the primary ticketing vendor at those schools, and multimedia partners IMG and Learfield Sports. In addition, the ticket reseller has announced six renewals, including Florida State, North Carolina, Purdue and Virginia Tech, the four institutions that launched StubHub’s entry into the college space in '10. StubHub Business Development Dir Greg Ivry said the other two renewals, Georgia and Wisconsin, expand deals into secondary ticketing that were previously restricted to sponsorships. Ivry said Wisconsin’s deal covers men’s hockey and FSU’s renewal includes baseball. The new agreements and renewals all span 3-5 years. All told, the StubHub-Paciolan partnership extends to 35 NCAA schools, 31 of which are tied to reselling tickets.
