NBA player agent JIM TANNER announced today he is starting his own sports firm, Tandem Sports & Entertainment. Tandem named HELEN DOOLEY Senior VP/Talent Representation & General Counsel, TERESE WHITEHEAD Senior VP/Marketing & Brand Development, SHANA MARTIN Senior VP/Client & Business Operations, GRAHAM BOONE Dir of Basketball Operations, and KENYON REDFOOT Dir of Brand Strategy. All are formerly of DC-based law firm Williams & Connolly, where Tanner served as a partner. Tandem also named DERRICK POWELL VP/Player Representation and MATT LACZKOWSKI Dir of Athlete Representation & Staff Counsel. In addition, Tandem named MEREDITH GEISLER Senior VP/Communications, and her Meredith Communications firm will be integrated into the new firm (Tandem).
