Sterling Sports Management President JEFF CHILCOAT has "agreed to acquire Dallas-based Orasi Sports, which represents pro golfers on the men's side of the game." Headed by former PGA Tour player DENNIS HARRINGTON, Orasi "has seven players in its fold," including PGA Tour player CHAD CAMPBELL and Champions Tour players LOREN ROBERTS and RUSS COCHRAN. Sterling Sports also "represents 10 active LPGA players," including STACY LEWIS, BRITTANY LINCICOME and LIZETTE SALAS (BIZJOURNALS.com, 8/5).

DON'T SPEAK: Tennis HOFer BILLIE JEAN KING yesterday said that she "couldn't have revealed herself as being gay in the 1970s because it would have damaged the fledgling women's professional tennis tour." King: "I don't think it would have helped the situation. I think it would have hurt us more because we were just getting started." She added, "It was such a tenuous position. ... IN MEMORY: Former Eagles owner JERRY WOLMAN died yesterday at the age of 86 at his home in Potomac, Md. Wolman owned the Eagles from '63-69, and at the time was the youngest owner in the NFL (Eagles).
