PGATour.com To Debut Behind-The-Scenes Series On Univ. Of Washington Golf Team

PGATour.com is expanding its coverage beyond the Tour itself with a new behind-the-scenes series focused on the Univ. of Washington golf team. PGA Tour Entertainment cameras will follow UW as it prepares to play in the NCAA men’s golf championship. The series of short episodes will debut tomorrow and run through the opening round on May 28. The UW team features Chris Williams, the top-ranked amateur in the world and winner of the '13 Ben Hogan Award, as well as Cheng-Tsung Pan, individual winner of last week’s NCAA regional in Tallahassee. Features will be presented in three- to six-minute segments that will run on PGATour.com and the tour’s YouTube channel. PGA Tour VP/Digital Operations & Business Development Luis Goicouria said, “The PGA Tour continues to explore creative ways to engage with golf fans across all platforms. Many of today's PGA Tour players played college golf and we are very interested to understand how content like this resonates with PGA Tour fans.”
