Jaguars CFO BILL PRESCOTT resigned yesterday "after spending 17 years with the team." However, he will "remain as an adviser" to Jaguars VP/Finance & Planning KELLY FLANAGAN. Prescott's departure "means that four of the top five executives under former owner WAYNE WEAVER, who sold the team to" SHAHID KHAN in November '11, have "now left the team." The only top exec under Weaver "who is still with the team" is Jaguars Senior VP/Communications & Media DAN EDWARDS (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 4/2).
DEVIL IN THE DETAILS: An NHL source said that the Devils last week dismissed CMO & Senior VP/Ticket Sales & Marketing MICHAEL WILLIAMS as part of a front office restructuring. The overhaul also included the firing of one mid-level staffer each from the ticket operations and group sales departments. Williams had been with the Devils for three seasons after stints in the marketing departments of the 49ers and Ducks (Christopher Botta, Staff Writer).
