49ers Top Ravens On Twitter, Facebook In Run-Up To Super Bowl XLVII

In a seven-month period that ends Friday, the 49ers lead the Ravens in total additions of Facebook “likes” and Twitter “followers,” with a total of 452,400 additions in comparison to 391,041. Competing on a percentage-only basis of social media additions, the Ravens come out on top, up 31.7%, compared to a jump of 29.0% for the 49ers. When breaking down the whole roster of playoff teams and how they have performed over the month of January, the Ravens lead the percentage of new additions (+13.0%). Next are the Seahawks with an increase of 6.7% and the 49ers (+6.5%). Teams that exited in Wild Card rounds, like the Colts and Vikings, added the least, with each seeing less than 1% growth in the last month.
