Overnight Ratings: Rain, Olympics Hamper ESPN's Sprint Cup At Pocono

ESPN coverage of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Pennsylvania 500 led all non-Olympic sports telecasts over the weekend with a 2.6 overnight Nielsen rating yesterday. The race featured a rain delay from 1:00-3:00pm ET, with racing resuming from 3:00-5:15pm before rain forced the cancellation of the rest of the race. CBS finished with a 1.6 overnight for the final round of the PGA Tour/WGC Bridgestone Invitational yesterday, which saw Keegan Bradley win by one stroke over Jim Furyk and Steve Stricker. Tiger Woods finished tied for eighth.
