WNBA Attendance Down Slightly As League Takes Month-Long Olympic Break

WNBA teams are averaging 7,752 fans per game this season to date, down slightly compared to the same period a year ago. The Sparks lead all clubs with 10,567 fans per game and are the only club with five-figure attendance. Average attendance for the Lynx is up 16.7%, marking the league's biggest increase on the heels of the franchise's first WNBA championship last season. Meanwhile, the Mystics and Mercury are seeing double-digit declines at the gate. Listed below is team-by-team attendance for the WNBA through the Olympics break, with comparisons to the same period last year (THE DAILY).
