Kaplan starts later this month and will report to The Hub President & CEO MARGARET LOESCH (John Ourand, THE DAILY)....The Hawks have named Cavaliers Dir of Player Personnel WES WILCOX Assistant GM (Hawks)....The Pistons promoted Dir of Player Personnel GEORGE DAVID to Assistant GM (MLIVE.com, 7/3)....Angelo State Univ. named SEAN JOHNSON AD, effective July 23 (ASU)....Texas A&M-Kingsville named BRIAN DEANGELIS AD (CALLER.com, 7/2).
