SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL's John Lombardo notes the Hornets have hired Saints Senior Dir of Corporate Partnerships JEAN-PAUL DARDENNE as Senior VP/Corporate Partnerships, replacing TOM WARD, "who left in late June to take a similar position" with the 76ers. Saints VP/Marketing & Business Development BEN HALES "will assume the same role at the Hornets as he replaces" former Hornets Senior VP/Marketing MATT BIGGERS, who left the job in late June. In addition, Hornets CFO ED LANGHAS has "assumed similar duties at the Saints." The three new execs "report to new Hornets President DENNIS LAUSCHA" (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 7/2 issue).

EXECS: Santa Anita Park VP/Sales & Marketing CHRIS QUINN has left the track after seven years. His departure comes after Stronach Group CEO GREG AVIOLI, whose company owns Santa Anita, was replaced in March by MARK VERGE. It is unclear who will replace Quinn. Santa Anita will host the Breeders' Cup Nov. 2-3 (Liz Mullen, SportsBusiness Journal)....Centenary College Friday named RONDA SEAGRAVES AD (SHREVEPORT TIMES, 6/30).
