NOTES: The '12 NBA Finals earned a 10.1 rating on ABC over the five-game Heat-Thunder series, down 1% compared to last year’s 10.2 rating over the six-game Mavericks-Heat series. ABC averaged 16.855 million viewers for this year’s Finals series, down around 3% from last year’s 17.339 million average for Mavericks-Heat (John Lombardo, SportsBusiness Journal)....Three live UFC Fight Nights and two live motocross races in June delivered Fuel TV its most-watched month ever, surpassing February '12. Fuel TV recorded its second and third most-watched weeks in network history in June. The month was up 50% in total viewers and 67% in the men 18-49 demographic compared to the same period last year (Fox)....ESPN's MLS Sounders-Timbers broadcast on June 24 "drew the third-highest number of viewers ever for a MLS regular season game." The game drew 888,000 viewers, the "largest audience for a MLS regular season game" since '98 (OREGONLIVE.com, 6/27).
