Stillman's Ownership Group Raised $72M In Equity Firm Offering To Buy Blues

Untitled Document Tom Stillman’s Blues ownership group “raised $72 million in an equity offering to buy the team, with each investor putting in at least $1 million,” according to an SEC filing cited by Amir Kurtovic of the ST. LOUIS BUSINESS JOURNAL. The SEC Form D document, required for such fundraising, “does not specify how much each investor kicked in.” The name of the corporate entity was “SLB Acquisition Holdings LLC and is registered to the same address as Stillman’s Summit Distributing beer distribution business.” The document shows that there were "16 total investors" (BIZJOURNALS.com, 5/17).
