ESPN N.Y. Leads Company's Local Site Traffic As Initiative Hits Three-Year Anniversary

ESPN this month is hitting the three-year anniversary of the launch of its local website initiative, and over the past year, the five sites have combined to average just over 16.3 million unique visitors per month, according to data from comScore. During the period of April ’11 through March ’12, December was by far the most heavily-trafficked month, with a combined 20.6 million uniques. ESPNLA.com also saw its 12-month high in traffic during that month. During the past year, ESPNNY.com led all of the local sites with 4.2 million average uniques. The site’s best month during the period was last month, when it hit 6.2 million uniques, up from 4.0 million the previous March. Listed below are unique visitors for the ESPN local sites over the past 12 months. Data does not include traffic from mobile users.
