Former Versus President JAMIE DAVIS was hired as President of the online sports retailer Fanatics. He will report to company CEO and Founder ALAN TRAGER and will work out of its Jacksonville HQs. Fanatics on Monday bought the sports retailer Dreams for around $183M in stock and debt. While Davis oversaw Versus from '08-11, the channel was the fastest growing sports cable network in the U.S. He left the net soon after Comcast's acquisition of NBC became official (John Ourand, THE DAILY).

EXECS: NFL Media named web tech firm SkyWeaver President & CEO MANISH JHA GM of Mobile. Jha will report to NFL Digital Media GM JEFF BERMAN (NFL)....Quiksilver Americas promoted Senior VP/Global Product RYAN SCANLON to Senior VP/Marketing. The company also named TAYLOR WHISENAND Senior VP/Marketing Operations and SCOTT RICHARDS Creative Dir (TRANSWORLDBUSINESS.com, 4/17)....Saint Peter's College named JOE QUINLAN AD after "serving in the interim capacity since November." Quinlan previously held the same position at Seton Hall Univ. He will be the "seventh AD in school history" (NJ.com, 4/17)....Consulting services firm French/West/Vaughn hired ANN SPENCER as an Account Supervisor in the firm's sports & entertainment practice. Spencer previously served as PGA Tour Fall Series Turning Stone Resort Championship Tournament Dir (THE DAILY).
