PGA of America CEO JOE STERANKA “will leave the position at the end of the year.” Steranka has held the position for the past six-and-a-half years and “informed his staff of his decision Tuesday.” He started at the PGA of America in ’88 as Dir of Communications and became CEO in Nov. ’05. Steranka said he has “no plans” after he leaves the position (PALM BEACH POST, 4/11).

GRASS IS GREENER: The All England Lawn Tennis Club named Rugby Football League Chair RICHARD LEWIS Chief Exec for Wimbledon. Lewis fills the position “vacated when IAN RITCHIE joined the Rugby Football Union" in December. Lewis will also retain his position as Sport England Chair (LONDON TIMES, 4/11). He will “leave his post with the Rugby Football League at the end of this month” (AP, 4/10). Lewis’ RFL “has been widely respected by sport’s movers and shakers.” Lewis “turned the finances around to such an extent that the organisation is now comfortably in the black.” While he has never been a natural frontman, “there is a suspicion that may suit” AELTC Chair PHILIP BROOK (GUARDIAN.co.uk, 4/10).

EXECS: ANNA PETITTI is leaving NFL Network's affiliate relations/marketing group to join Pac-12 Network, where she will be VP/Affiliate Sales & Marketing. Petitti will work out of N.Y. and report to ART MARQUEZ, who used to be her boss at NFL Network, where she was Dir of Affiliate Sales. Petitti starts April 26 (John Ourand, THE DAILY)....MSG Sports named KEVIN CHRISTIE to the new position of Senior VP/Business Development. Christie will report to MSG Sports President SCOTT O’NEIL. For the last nine years, Christie has been Bank of America Merril Lynch Dir, serving in the Media & Telecom Group within the Investment Banking division (MSG)….Athletic training facility Michael Johnson Performance named ROBERT JENKINS Dir of Sales & Marketing (MJP).
