Thunder's Kevin Durant Signs With Pelinka, Landmark Sports Agency For Represenation

Thunder F Kevin Durant has signed with prominent NBA player agent Rob Pelinka for representation, sources said. Pelinka's L.A.-based firm, The Landmark Sports Agency, represents 15 NBA players, including Lakers G Kobe Bryant. As previously reported, Durant parted ways with his longtime agent Aaron Goodwin last month. Durant during the last several weeks met with many major sports agents and agencies before choosing Pelinka and Landmark, sources said (Liz Mullen, SportsBusiness Journal). Durant said last month, "I really appreciate what the Goodwins did for me. But it was time for me to move on." In Oklahoma City, Darnell Mayberry notes Forbes in January "ranked Durant as the game's eighth-highest earner" at $24.5M. Durant's sponsorships include Nike, Gatorade, Sprint, Apollo Jets, Degree Men, Skullcandy, Panini America and Oklahoma City-based Bob Moore Auto Group (OKLAHOMAN, 3/20).
