What's Up For The Weekend With Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban

Mavericks Owner MARK CUBAN made a name for himself doing his own thing, and this weekend will be no different as he escapes to the Cayman Islands with his family for some mid-season rest and relaxation.

MASTER PLAN: I will be in the Cayman Islands with my family. It’s spring break with the kids, so I will spend time on the beach looking for shells and crabs and running around.

LOOK AT THAT BODY: I like to take aerobics class and lift on weekends at my gym. I’ve been going there for 20+ years. So it’s become a habit when I’m in town. This weekend, it’s all elliptical in the little workout room where we stay in the Caymans.

KICKING BACK: The latest I sleep in on weekend is about 10:00am if I came in from a road trip early in the AM. In a normal weekend, 8:00am. If I get a great workout I will go to McDonald's and get a small chocolate coated soft serve ice cream.

HONEY-DO LIST: I run my own errands, like to just drive around and listen to the radio listening to anything but sports talk radio and just relax. Just driving gives me the privacy and relaxation I don’t get anywhere else.

BEST WEEKEND EVER? June 13, 2011 (Ed. note: that's the date the Mavericks won the NBA title).
