Compensation For Top ISC Execs Down Due To Cash Bonuses Being Eliminated

In an effort to control expenses in '11, Int'l Speedway Corp. eliminated cash bonuses for all execs and instead awarded restricted stock. As a result, total compensation for ISC Vice Chair & CEO LESA FRANCE KENNEDY declined 15.6% from '10 to $791,595, according to a recent security filing. Kennedy received a base salary of $604,115, flat with the prior year. She earned 54% of her potential bonus and was awarded $187,180 in restricted stock in '11, a year when ISC saw revenues decline by $15.6M and reported net income of $69.4M. ISC Chair JIM FRANCE earned total compensation of $488,586 and President JOHN SAUNDERS received $635,719. ISC's stock yesterday closed at $25.54.
