Yahoo Sports has hired NHL.com VP & Editor-in-Chief BOB CONDOR as its new Exec Editor for Sports. Condor had worked for NHL.com since '08 and is a 30-year industry veteran with prior stints at the Chicago Tribune and N.Y. Daily News. Condor will lead all editorial efforts for Yahoo Sports. "I respect the journalism done every day and firmly believe that sort of tenacious reporting is what sports fans want," Condor said in a statement (Eric Fisher, SportsBusiness Journal).
